On the 18th and 19th of August was the Splash where Mas Bands from London and Europe Showcase their Kings, Queens individuals, and so on, in recent years the standard has dropped, as the number of bands can no longer afford to build big costumes (or at least build what they want to build) while others simply don't have that kind of skill within their groups.
Sat18th was children's day and 19th was for adults I went on the both days and I must say while some bands may be slowly dropping some smaller new bands are rising up!
