The infamous Carnival grapevine provided me with some information, another example of betrayal, espionage, and a wickedness so pure the serpent himself have to take notes, this latest talk had the Mas Assassin thinking I told them so…
Now the Mas Assassin will never put his hand on heart or swear that the rumors are 100% true, but within these rumors, I do believe there is a lot of truth because, “there are hidden secrets” out there, and when all is not sweet, birds start to tweet tweet tweet, signaling that there is trouble in paradise.
The new talk is that a band leader of a certain sold out band is counting profits upwards of £40.000 from ignorant masqueraders, rumor has it that that this band leader and Co, acquired 90% of their materials from the Masquerading band they were formally part of (you might say it was sent from heaven).
The talk is that the poor ignorant masqueraders have paid upwards of £100 per costume when in fact hey should be paying about £30.00 because “the things dem hot!” but such is life in a fool’s paradise…
They on the vine also said that the band that was looted still has a mole on the inside passing things on to the sold out band, on demand. I guess the temptation is too strong to stop.
If fortune does favor the bold, then it have plenty more boldfaceness to follow, and plenty more fortunes to make too, sometimes when you do wrong KARMA, comes back at you like a boomerang from hell so this story not finished yet…

Those things are more "hot" dan Vat 19 or a good mother-in law pepper. An as for the mole, that is a sure dark hole.

i will respond to this as this is really getting stupid and massassination i now realise what it is your doing! post as much bad talk about our band promt a response from us so its searchable by people on the internet! nice touch!
anyway think about this logically you yourself look back and see what themes m2k has portrayed for the past 3 years! then look at what i am portraying this year! then scrutinise the costumes and see what possibly could have come from the years before in m2k and transpire into our new theme? we are a feather, sequin and bead rich band! now dont get me wrong yes m2k uses feathers yearly but there is a certain artistic director who soley houses them feathers in his HOME as he is a distributer for them, so they would have never been in the camp!and also look at m2k theme for this year what could possibly be used from them costumes on ours??? i mean for instance one of our sections would take 200 mtrs of bead fringe, 5000 rhinestones and about 50 yrds of fabric what band would have that just laying around??? as i have told you many many times i dunno where u getting your info but i can guess and i know my previous band is trying all kinds to regain members!
if there was a way to put them on here i would post up all the receipts from my band for the year so far as that is factual eveidence that this info you got is BULLSHIT! now come come tell me this if a band is saying someone teaf bla! do you really think they would let more stuff get teaf? or more importantly not lock the stuff away? the only element of truth within all of this is you are more gullable than i thought this foolishness is peeing me off when that band has more pressing issues to deal with like the fact they were under investigation for 2 very questionable issues that i dont think i would like to disclose on here but i am sure that your reliable source can tell you about! if shit continue to get fling they may have to get exposed then i am sure the local press and arts council would be all over them like ah cheap suit but as you said KARMA will decide whats what theres only so long thay can brush these major issues under the carpet before it gets leaked but i can tell you if you only knew your opinion of that band would change quick but you sure wont hear it from me.................. so in conclusion think about the supposed facts logically before you post!

as a legal advisor reading this i would just like to point out that what you are doing is vicious and slanderous and can inevitablly land you in serious hot water. what you are doing is injudious against this band and have to add not in the spirit of carnival itself.
I will be monitoring this site from now on, and would like to invite the opposing band to seek legal representation against those statements made.

For a seemly intelligent person, you don't seem to have done any homework on your blog before you posted it. But lets do the math shall we?? Profits of £40,000 from the pockets of as you would put it "ignorant masqueraders"...hmmm...ok...lets see. Lets not beat around the bush, we all know who you're talking about, your not so subtle use of the bands section names made that clear. Now, I've looked around and this unnamed band has 5 sections made up of 50 backlines (male & female), 5 frontlines and a few individuals, so thats 250 backlines @ £110.00, 25 frontlines @ £200...£32,500 + the individuals..and thats if every spot is filled..now please correct me if I'm wrong, but where the hell is £40,000 PROFIT coming from?
£32,500 before paying for costume materials, renting a building for mas camp, security, trucks, djs, sound systems, food, drink, and whatever other expenses come up...Looks to me like people are picking numbers out of the air to try and hurt the bands reputation, would help if people got a calculator out first....but what would I know? I'm just an ignoranant masquerader!
